The Ava earrings are plated in 24kt gold and feature a drop pearl. The earrings are hypoallergenic and feature a silver backing. They a favourite with celebrities with influencers, and have been worn by Shannon Lawson, Kelly Rutherford and Shannon Baff.
Sophie Monk rose to fame as a member of the girl group Bardot on the TV series Popstars Australia. The girl group experienced success on the charts, reaching number 1 with both their debut single and album. In May 2002 after several albums released, the group disbanded. Sophie Monk then performed as a soloist after signing with Warner Music Australia and created a few singles as well as a debut album before leaving the label in 2004.
After her singing career, Sophie Monk went on to become a successful Australian actress with roles in HBO comedy series Entourage, Warner comedy film Spring Breakdown and a number of music videos. Sophie Monk has also had many hosting roles, including on Getaway, judging on Australia’s Got Talent, winning The Celebrity Apprentice Australia, and starring on The Bachelorette Australia.
During her time on The Bachelorette Australia, Sophie Monk picked Stu Laundy as the winner. However, they broke off their relationship in 2018 shortly after the show ended. Sophie Monk is now engaged to entrepreneur and neurosurgical consultant Joshua Gross. Previously, she was engaged to Benji Madden and Jimmy Esebag, but both these engagements ended before marriage.
Sophie Monk also had an illustrious modelling career. She has featured on the covers of Maxim, FHM, Stuff and Ralph. Sophie Monk once declined a cover shoot with Playboy despite being offered $1 million. Alongside these roles, Sophie Monk has also had a number of radio hosting gigs.
Sophie Monk was born in England but moved to the Gold Coast at the age of 2. She was trained in classical opera as child.
Sophie Monk wore the Ava earrings while hosting Love Island Australia. The TV series follows a group of single, attractive people who live together on a luxurious island to find love with each other. The singles ‘couple up’ with each other during the show and must be in a couple to avoid being eliminated off the island. The show has aired two seasons on Channel Nine and is set to return in 2021 with a new location on the Gold Coast. It is based on the TV show Love Island which originated in the UK.
